  • Webinar: Video Analysis using "Sigmund"

    With the discontinuation of Logger Pro, options for video analysis are either costly, complex, or both. Sigmund is a free, web-based video analysis program. It has a simple interface designed with students in mind. They can easily load and analyze their own videos of dropped and tossed balls. Their data can be easily copied and pasted into a graphing and analysis tool for a complete laboratory experiment.

  • Webinar: Your Phone Is a Lab - Data Collection Made Mobile

    This interactive session will introduce participants to the Physics with Phones curriculum using several hands-on lab activities. The activities will focus on measuring acceleration using the phone’s 3-axis accelerometer. Experiments will include the investigation of gravity, seismic activity, and accelerated motion. The activities are appropriate for high school and introductory college physics classes.
